Privacy notice
Last updated: 10 August 2026
This notice explains how Fors Europe Ltd. handles personal data. It is written to meet the transparency requirements of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Fors Europe Ltd., a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 06497120, with its registered office at 40 Bowling Green Lane, London EC1R 0NE, United Kingdom.
For any question about this notice or about your personal data, contact info@fors-europe.net.
2. What data we collect
We keep our collection of personal data to the minimum required to operate the business:
- Enquiry and correspondence data — the name, business email address, company name and message content you send us when you contact us.
- Client and supplier contact data — the names, business contact details and roles of the individuals we deal with at client and supplier organisations.
- Contract and billing records — information necessary to issue and settle invoices and to keep proper accounting records.
- Technical data from this website — our hosting provider processes standard server and security logs, which may include IP addresses, for the purpose of delivering and protecting the site.
We do not ask for or knowingly collect special category data, and this website contains no forms, accounts or payment functionality.
3. Why we process it, and our legal basis
- To respond to enquiries — legitimate interests, and where relevant steps taken prior to entering into a contract.
- To perform our contracts and deliver agreed services — performance of a contract.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations, including retention of records required by UK company and tax law — legal obligation.
- To keep this website available and secure — legitimate interests.
4. Cookies
This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not profile visitors. No consent banner is therefore required.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. Data may be handled on our behalf by service providers acting under contract as processors, such as our website hosting provider, our email provider, and our accountants. We also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, by a regulator, or by a court.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers operate infrastructure outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on an appropriate safeguard recognised under the UK GDPR, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted once they are no longer relevant, normally within twelve months. Contract, invoice and accounting records are retained for at least six years after the end of the relevant financial year, as required by UK law, and then deleted.
8. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the legislation, you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive data in a portable format. You may also object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@fors-europe.net. We will respond within one month. There is no charge for a routine request.
9. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, you may complain to the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We would ask that you raise the matter with us first so that we have the opportunity to put it right.
10. Changes to this notice
We review this notice periodically. Any updated version is published on this page with a revised date at the top.
